Use this tab to link absence types to absence wage codes. As a result of this link, when time is reported by employees using absence wage codes (from Time and Attendance module), the result will be calculated based on the absence type definition (from Absence Administration module) in addition to the absence wage code.
Also, if absence is registered using the absence type in the Absence window (belonging to Absence Administration module), the result will be generated using the absence wage code as well as the absence type details (in Time and Attendance module). The way of generating results in the Time and Attendance module depends on value selected in the Registration Mode field. If Normal mode is selected – results are generated immediately in both modules. Alternatively, an absence will be first created as an Employee Deviation for each day within the absence period (for more information see the Employee Deviation Days window description).
Note: If absence types entered here are set as protected in the Data Access window, wage codes they are linked to will be protected as well. Only members of a data access group will have access to those types and wage codes.
