Use this tab to view and maintain information about a serial part. This tab appears in IFS/Vehicle Information Management (IFS/VIM) and IFS/Project Delivery windows, and shows the data stored in Part Serial Catalog for a given serial.
From this tab you can change the serial part's manufactured and installation dates as long as no scheduled maintenance based on the Date Manufactured or Date Installed calculation rules has been completed. You may want to change the installation date to influence the due date for scheduled maintenance. To change either of these dates, right-click and then click the appropriate right mouse button option. When these dates are changed, the due calculation for interval maintenance will run automatically.
