Set Work Order Status to On Route
Explanation
This activity is used to change the status of the mobile work order to On
Route. This status is set when you start traveling to the
customer's site to perform the work. If a default travel craft is defined for
the mobile user, a travel time transaction is created automatically when the work order is set on route.
Prerequisites
- The work order should exist on the mobile device running IFS Mobile Work
Order.
- The work order should be accepted by the mobile user.
- For automatic travel time transaction creation (if this is set up in the
security configuration), a default travel craft should be
defined for the employee/mobile user.
- If surveys are to be used in the work order flow, the work order
integration should be defined for the survey in IFS Human Resources.
System Effects
- The work order is set to the On Route status.
- An automatic travel time transaction (if this is set up in the security
configuration) is created on the work order.
- A journal entry is created on the mobile work order for the status
change.
