Release an Operation from On Hold

Explanation

This activity is used to release an operation or subtask (from IFS/Vehicle Information Management) that is set on hold.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the operation or subtask must have been set on hold (i.e., the On Hold check box must have been selected for the operation line).

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the operation is released from on hold. A journal entry is created with the On Hold/Release from On Hold event type.

Procedure

1. Open the Prepare Work Order, Report In Work Order or the Work Order Execution Logic window and query (F3) for the necessary work order.
2. Click the Operations tab.
3. Select the desired operation line, right-click and click Release from On Hold.
