Enter Document Text
Explanation
Use this activity to enter a short document text, and link
it, for example, to a requisition line. Document texts are short pieces of information that can be
linked to and printed along with requisitions or customer orders.
Prerequisites
Before a document text is entered, the following must have
been completed:
- In the
Document Text Administration
window, the output type for
document must have been entered.
- If a standard phrase is to be added, the
phrase must have been entered in the
Document Text Administration
window.
- The current work order must have been retrieved in the window.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the document text is
printed on the documents that you have specified for the output type.

Procedure
Use the following procedure to enter a text:
- Select the line to which you want to connect a text.
- Right-click and click Document Text.
- Click
New.
- Select a suitable output type for the document
in the Output Type field.
- Optionally, enter a
text in the Document Text/Phrase Text field, or use
the List button to select an existing phrase.
- Click Save.
