Explanation

There are many different options to personalize the user interface of IFS Applications to better fit your way of working.

Configure Context Pane

You can configure the Context Pane to define which panels you want to use in your daily work. E.g. if you are working with tasks and attachment you want these panels to be displayed in the context pane. Read more in Configure the Context Pane

Application Options

Via Application Options you can configure the application behavior in different ways. E.g. change color themes, change Application home page etc., read more in Set Application Options

Page Properties

It is possible to change layout and behavior of IFS Application pages. In table/overview pages you can hide/move/resize columns, read more in  Adjust Columns in Tables. You can also change the properties of a page, e.g. define fields to be read-only, mandatory etc., read more in About Page Properties

Personalize Navigation

The Navigator can be customized to fit your needs. Items and folders can be added, moved, renamed and removed. Read more in Personalize the Navigator

Custom Menus

Via Custom Menus you it is possible to define your own menu items in IFS Application pages context menu. This is usually handled by the System Administrator. Read more in the Technical Documentation Configure Custom Menus

Use Kiosk Mode

For some users, some specific IFS Application pages or in some situations it's useful to use the application in "kiosk mode". This means that IFS Application page is displayed in full screen and the top pane, bottom pane and navigator pane are hidden. use Shift + F11 to toggle between "kiosk mode" and regular mode.
