View Invoice Image and Attachments

Explanation

This activity is used to view the invoice image and attachments connected to external supplier invoices. An invoice image can be loaded into IFS Applications when an invoice message with E-INVOICE creators reference is received or when a text file (STDSIN3) is loaded to IFS Applications in the Supplier Invoice Workflow.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a text file with an invoice image must have been loaded into the external supplier interface, or an invoice message with an embedded invoice image or a reference to an invoice image, and/or attachments must have been received into the external supplier interface.

Procedure

The following procedure is used to view the invoice image of an external supplier invoice.

  1. Open the External Supplier Invoices window and query for the invoice of which you want to view the invoice image.
  2. Select the record you queried for, right-click and then click View Local File to open the invoice image. The invoice image does not have to be checked into IFS/Document Management to be viewed.

The following procedure is used to view the invoice document(s) of an external supplier invoice That has been checked into IFS/Document Management.

  1. Open the External Supplier Invoices window and query for the invoice of which you want to view the invoice document(s).
  2. Select the record you queried for, you can view the attached document(s) in the Attachments panel.

The following procedure is used to view the attachments of an external supplier invoice.

  1. Open the External Supplier Invoices window and query for the invoice of which you want to view the attachments.  (Note: The Attachments check box is selected for invoices with attachments.)
  2. Select the record you queried for, right-click and then click Attachments to open the Attachments window.
  3. Select the attachment you want to view, right-click and click View Attachment to open the attachment.
