Enter Authorization Role

Explanation

This activity is used to change the names used in IFS Applications for the roles of Authorizer and Acknowledger. For example, if you want to use ABC Division Authorizer instead of the default name Authorizer, you can do so by changing the value in the Description for Role Shown in Client field, for the authorizer role. 

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites.

System Effects

The specified name will be used in all the places where the relevant authorization role name is displayed.

Procedure

1. Open the Authorization Role window.
2. Populate the window.
3. Select the record with the name of the role for which you want to use a different name. In the Description for Role Shown in Client field, enter the name you want to use in the application.
4. Save the changes.
