Enter Item Certificate Values
Explanation
This activity is used to enter item certificate values, such as the work
value, stored material, discount, retention, deduction and retention released.
These values must be entered on the item level before the valuation is
certified. Note: It will not be possible to change the values once the valuation is
certified.
When certifying, the certified values cannot be higher than the latest
released sub contract call off value except for items with the Rate Only
calculation method. If it is, certification will not be
allowed.
Prerequisites
- The valuation should be either in the Planned or Application Received status. Planned if the Receive Application
check box is cleared, Application Received if the Receive Application check box is selected.
- The Item Level Certificate check box should have been selected.
System Effects
- The
Certificate Summary
tab is updated with certified values from the
Sub Contract Valuation/Item Valuation tab.

Procedure
- Open the
Sub
Contract Valuation window and query (F3) for the necessary valuation.
- Click the
Item Valuation tab.
- For each item or tax code, enter the
certified amounts for both work and material.
- Save the information (F12).
- Repeat the procedure for each item or tax group that is to be certified.
