Print Shipping Note

Explanation

Use this activity to print a shipping note. The printed shipping note contains information derived from a customer order load list. It has a header with general shipment information and lines with information about the total net weight of customer orders connected to a delivery route. The weight information makes it possible to determine the number of orders which can be loaded into a truck. The shipping note can also be sent along with the goods in the truck.

Prerequisites

• This activity requires that a load list has been entered.
• To be able to sort the information by route ID, the customer must be connected to a route ID. If not, the sorting will be based on the customer number instead.
• Net weight must be defined for the inventory part connected to the load list.
• Connected order lines in Picked status must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the shipping note is printed.

Procedure

1. In the header, populate or query for the desired load list.
2. Right-click, then click Print Shipping Note.
3. The Print Report window will open. In this window you can choose to preview the printout. You can also confirm or cancel the printout. If you want to print the shipping note, click OK. If you want to view the shipping note before printing, click Preview. You can then print the shipping note by clicking Print.
