Delete Handling Unit

Explanation

It is possible to delete a handling unit, once it has been created. If there are sub handling units connected to the handling unit to be deleted, it is possible to choose to delete those as well or if they should be kept but moved one level up. Note that the deleted handling unit ID will not be re-used for any new handling units. As a result of this, you will notice a gap in the handling unit sequence. 

Prerequisites

The handling unit must have been created.

The handling unit(s) will be deleted.

Procedure

1. Open the Shipment window.
2. Query for a specific shipment ID.
3. Click the Handling Unit Structure tab to view the handling unit structure details.
4. Expand the shipment ID by selecting it.
5. Select the specific handling unit you want to delete.
6. Right-click on the handling unit and then click Delete Handling Unit.

Note: If you want to delete all handling units, select the shipment ID, right-click and then click Delete All Handling Units.
