Attach Reservations

Explanation

This activity is used to attach shipment reservation lines to handling units or to update, for example, which serial numbers or lot batch numbers are attached to the handling unit. A reservation line is set as attached either by entering a quantity to attach per reservation line or by setting the whole reservation line as being attached. It also possible to attach all reserved lines for a shipment line in one go.

Prerequisites

A handling unit with an attached shipment line and an unattached shipment reservation line must exist.

Procedure

To attach reservation lines to handling units:

1. Open the Shipment window and search for the required shipment.
2. Click the Handling Unit Structure/Unattached Shipment Reservations tab.
3. Right-click and then click Attach Reservations.
4. On the dialog box that appears, either enter a quantity to attach or select the Attach check box on the relevant reservation line.
5. If you want to attach all reserved lines, click Attach All.
6. Click OK.

To updated already attached reservation lines:

1. Open the Shipment window and search for the required shipment.
2. Click the Handling Unit Structure/Handling Units tab.
3. Select the required reservation line in the lower table, right-click and then click Attach Reservations.
4. On the dialog box that appears, update the necessary information in the reservation lines.
5. Click OK.
