Enter Additional Customer

Explanation

This activity is used to connect additional customers to the service contract. This is useful, for example, if different departments within a company are defined as separate customers but should still be allowed to use the same service contract. This means that the additional customers can be used on service requests using the same service contract.

The customers entered here can also be used as alternative customers to whom the service contract can be invoiced if required.

Prerequisites

Customers should be defined in Customer.

System Effects

As a result of this activity additional customers will be connected to the service contract.

Procedure

  1. Open the Service Contract window and query for a service contract (F3).
  2. Click the Additional Customers tab and create a new record (F5).
  3. Enter the identity of the additional customer. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  4. Save the information (F12).
