Show Document Substructure in Navigator 

Explanation

Use this activity to show a document's substructure in the Document Structure Navigator window. You can display an entire substructure of documents and navigate through the structure. Selecting a document in the navigator displays that document's data in the right of the navigator (in the Document Revision window).

Procedure

Use the following procedure to display a document substructure in the Document Structure Navigator window.

  1. Open the Document Revisionwindow or the Document Revisions window.
  2. Query for a document in the Document Revision window or in the Document Revisions window
  3. Select the document, right click, point to Document Substructure, and then click Show In Navigator to display documents in the Document Structure Navigator window.
  4. Expand nodes in the navigator to display the different substructure levels. Selecting a document displays its data in the Document Revision window.

To change how documents are displayed in the Document Structure Navigator window:

  1. Open the Document Structure Navigator window according to the instructions in previous procedure.
  2. Right-click on a folder or document in the left pane and click Customize Display.
  3. Select one or more of the following selections:

    Show Keys – to display the document keys in the navigator.

    Show Title – to display the title in the navigator.

    In the preview section you will see how the documents will be displayed in the navigator.
  4. Select OK to save your changes.
