Find Document Connected to Object

Explanation

Use this activity to locate documents that are connected to objects. To search for a document connected to a particular project, the Project Documents tab in the Project Navigator window can be used.

Prerequisites

The document that is connected to the object should exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you have located a document connected to an object.

Window

All windows where the Documents link is enabled in the Attachments tab of the context pane (panel below the window).

Procedure

Using Attachments/Documents:

1. Open a window which displays the object that is connected to the document you would like to locate.
2. Click the Attachments tab on the context pane.
3. Click the Documents link. All the documents that are connected to the object will be displayed.

Using the Document Object Connections window:

1. Open the Document Object Connections window.
2. Query for the object to view details of the documents connected to it.

Using the Project Navigator window:

1. Open the Project Navigator window and query for the project.
2. Click on the Project Documents tab. The documents connected to this project are displayed.
