A customer's consumption from the consignment stock must be manually reported in the system. This is typically done after a consumption signal from the customer, e.g., a phone call. The consumption must be reported before the customer can be invoiced.
If the quantity onhand after the reported consumption falls below the order point, a dialog box opens and gives you the option to create a refill order.
The sales accountings are created and the customer can be invoiced.
