Add Valid for Sites       

Explanation

This activity is used to specify the sites the freight price list or the direct delivery freight price list is valid for. The sites can be specified in three ways; you can manually add the required sites, connect all sites connected to the company or add all sites belonging to a site cluster.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• Required sites or the site cluster should have been saved.
• The sites cannot be connected to another active freight price list with the same ship-via code.
• All the sites connected must have been entered as valid sites in the freight map.

System Effects

• The freight price list will be valid for all the sites entered and will be used to calculate freight charges for the sites.

Procedure

1. Open the Freight Price List or the Direct Delivery Freight Price List window and query for the required price list and click the Valid for Sites tab.

To enter valid sites manually:

1. Click New and enter the site manually or select from the List of Values.
2. Save when all required sites have been entered.

To connect all sites in a company:

1. Right-click on the Valid for Sites tab, select Connect All Sites in Company and all the sites will be added to the Valid for Sites tab.
2. Click on Save.

To enter sites from a site cluster:

1. Right-click on the Valid for Sites tab, select Add Sites from Sites Cluster and the Add Sites from the Site Cluster dialog box will open.
2. Enter the appropriate site cluster.
3. Enter a site cluster node or a site from the List of Values. The corresponding level will be displayed in the Site Cluster Level Name field. By selecting a cluster node you can add all the sites in the levels below the selected node's level.
4. Click OK.
