Enter Revision Reasons

Explanation

Use this activity to enter reasons for creating new revisions of a business opportunity.

Prerequisites

• There are no prerequisites.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a revision reason is defined. The reason will be one of the options you can access by using the List of Values in the Create Revision dialog window.

• If you select the Blocked for Use check box, the reason code will not be available for further use and will not appear in the List of Values.

Procedure

1. Select the Sales Basic Data/Revision Reasons tab.
2. Enter the code for the reason in the Reason ID column.
3. Enter a description of the reason in the Reason Description column.
4. Optionally, select the Blocked for Use check box to block the reason code from further use.
5. Save when completed.
