Connect Customer Order to Sales Contract

Explanation

This activity is used to connect a customer order to an existing sales contract, in order to deliver the goods necessary for the contract.

Procedure

  1. Open the Customer Order window and query for or create a customer order.
  2. On the References tab, select the sales contract you wish to connect in the Contract No field. Use the List of Values.
  3. The Rev No, Line No and Item No will be automatically updated, but can be changed if required.
  4. Save the customer order.
  5. If the sales contract connected to a particular customer order needs to be changed, then select another available sales contract from the List of Values and save.
