Activate SPC and/or Capability Indices

Explanation

Use this activity to activate Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Capability Indices for one or more Control Plan lines.

Prerequisites

The Control Plan line must have the Planned status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, SPC and/or Capability Indices are activated for one or more Control Plan lines. Target values for the capability indices calculations are set.

Procedure

1. Select the SPC check box to activate SPC for the specified Control Plan line.
2. Select the Capability Indices check box to activate capability indices.
3. Enter target values for the capability indices Cp and Cpk in the Inner Target Cp, Inner Target Cpk, Outer Target Cp, and Outer Target Cpk fields.
4. Save when complete.
