Connect Employee to Billing Category

Explanation

Use this function to connect Employees to Billing Categories. This window will allow you to define the default billing category for each employee (but note that it is possible to override the Billing Category for a given employee on specific projects).

As a result of this entry, a Billing Category will be saved on the Project Transaction when reporting time, and this Billing Category could form the basis for the Sales Price (depending on if the Billing Category is used as a Sales Price Criteria).

Procedure

  1. Select New.
  2. Select an Employee ID.
  3. Select a Billing Category to use for the Employee.
  4. Set the date interval for which the Employee should have the selected Billing Category.
  5. Select Save.
