Enter Project Categories

Explanation

Projects within a company can be grouped by means of their characteristics such as internal, external etc. The project categories 1 and 2 are used to to group such projects. Once projects are categorized the categories can be used as overhead criteria which in turn are used in the calculation of overheads, and as sales price criteria used for defining sales prices.

Procedure

  1. Open either the Project Basic/Category 1 tab or the Project Basic/Category 2 tab and click New to create a new record.
  2. Enter the project category identity, description and the company. A category can belong to one company only.
  3. Click Save.
