Integrate into Visit Structure
Explanation
This activity is used to integrate work into a visit structure, for instance,
faults that are not already reported to the maintenance organization can exist
in a technical log and may need to be corrected during the maintenance visit.
These faults can be reported in the system and included to an ongoing
maintenance order.
Prerequisites
- A maintenance order must exist.
- Faults from the technical log for the serial must have been reported.
System Effects
- The fault task(s) will be distributed to the same workshop as the rest
of the order with the same planned start and finish dates and with the same
distribution type.
- The fault task(s) will be added to the maintenance order and distributed
to the work order if the distribution type is either Work Order or
Execution Logic Structure.
- If the Execution Logic Structure distribution type is used, the
fault task(s) will be added to the ongoing maintenance order and the
connected operations will be mapped into the correct execution logic orders
(ELOs) on the maintenance order. In addition, the operations will be mapped
into corresponding ELO work orders in IFS/Work Order Management.
