Change Routing Revision and/or Alternative

Explanation

Use this activity to change a routing revision and/or alternative for a DOP order. 

Prerequisites

When the DOP order is released, the status of its supply shop orders must be Planned, Released or Reserved.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the routing revision and alternative are changed on the DOP order. The Routing Changed checkbox will be selected on the DOP Order//Detail tab. If the DOP order already has a routing revision and an alternative, the existing routing, work guideline, and tool records are removed and replaced.
When the DOP order is released, the operations of its supply shop orders are adjusted.

Procedure

1. Select the DOP order for which the routing revision and/or alternative needs to be changed, either from DOP Order window or the DOP Header/Structure tab.
2. Right-click and select Change Routing Revision and/or Alternative.
3. On Modify DOP Routing dialog box, the Part No and Site fields will be filled in by the system.
4. Use the List option to select which routing revision number you want to change to. The Routing Alternative No will change based on the Routing Revision No you select. For a configurable part, when you select the Revision No, the configuration evaluation will decide which alternative is used based on rules.
5. Click OK.
