Use this window primarily to connect design parts as additional parts to objects. To connect an additional part to a object, the object's class must allow additional parts. You can connect two additional parts with the same Design Part ID as long as their Object Part, Drawing No, Drawing Position ID or Note field information differs.
You can also use this window to modify additional part information or remove additional parts from objects. By default, the values for the Spare Part Quantity and Purchase Quantity fields are set to 1 but they can be modified.
Additional parts may be transferred along with their object to IFS/Equipment when the design object's design status is changed. Once the object is transferred to IFS/Equipment, additional parts become spare parts.
