Use this dialog box to create and connect a design part, to the design object to be prefabricated. You can use the default values displayed in this dialog box when creating the design part, and you can also modify values for the Design Part ID, Class, Part No and Description fields. When creating a design part, a default entry for a part in Inventory is established, and the part will be of the Manufactured part type, by default.
Once created, you can view the design object-design part connection on the Design Object Work Preparation window. This connection enables you to right click on design object in the Design Object Work Preparation window and click Create Shop Order.
