Use this window to associate your company's part numbers with the part numbers used by the manufacturer. Each of your company's part numbers can be associated with more than one part number from one manufacturer and/or more than one manufacturer.
When you add a record, the Approved field is set to Yes by default. The Approved User and Approved Date fields are automatically updated. History records are automatically created when the manufacturer parts are approved/disapproved and when they are deleted.
If one of the manufacturers supplies multiple part numbers for the same company part, you can select one of the manufacturer part numbers as the preferred part number from that manufacturer.
