Use this tab to create and maintain GTIN information.
The upper table of the tab contains GTIN information about the part stock keeping unit (SKU) or the parent part. It includes the GTIN, GTIN series, whether or not it is used for identification, whether or not the GTIN is the default value, whether the date stamp when used for identification is changed and whether it is auto created. You can have several GTINs per part but only one of them can be the default GTIN. You can create GTIN series 8, 12, 13 and 14 automatically. It is possible to create GTIN series 8, 12, 13, 14 and Free Format manually.
In the lower table, you can enter GTIN-14 for packages per GTIN in the upper table. To create GTIN-14 for packages you must create GTIN 8,12 or 13 for the part SKU level. It is possible to enter GTIN-14 for package manually.
It is not possible to use the same GTIN for identification for more than one part.
