Project Cost Breakdown Structure

[To Project Management]

Usage

Use this window to create cost breakdown structures (CBS) for your company. A cost breakdown structure is made up of levels, nodes and cost/revenue elements. The structure can be in an Active, In Progress or Obsolete state. The nodes and cost/revenue elements are used to build the structure, whilst the levels are used for reporting purposes.

The structure can be used as a project specific CBS (single project) or for the use of multiple projects. It can also be stored as a template which can be copied from and used to create new structures.

Once a structure is in the Active state it can be connected to a project and it will provide a clear view of how the project cost is structured.
