Set PM Inventory Part Demand Horizon for PM Actions per
Site
Explanation
This activity is used to define the PM Inventory Part Demand Horizon for a
certain Site which will be used to determine if the inventory parts demand of an
Active Preventive Maintenance Action occurrence/plan line defined on the same
site will or will not be shown in the Inventory Part Availability Planning
window when queried for an inventory part defined in the Preventive Maintenance
Action.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, the site must be defined.
System Effects
- PM Inventory Part Demand Horizon creates the upper limit with the
deviation from the current system date and all Active Preventive Maintenance
plan lines with the planned start lying in between the system date and the
upper limit will be shown in the Inventory Part Availability Planning
window when queried for an inventory part defined in the PM Actions Material
tabs.
- Depending on the inventory part, these Maintenance plans lines will be shown
as demands with the Type as 'PM Action'.
- If the value of PM Inventory Part Demand Horizon is NULL, it will
consider the PM_PLAN_HORIZON and demands will be available up to that
value. If it's '0' no demands will be available.
