Define Job Program
Explanation
Use this activity to define the basic details for a job program.
Prerequisites
- Sites must have been defined and connected to the users in
IFS/General Data for Inventory and Distribution.
- Program Types must have been defined in IFS/Basic Data
for Maintenance,
Work Order and PM Basic Data.
System Effects
- A new job program will be created.
- The new job program will receive the Preliminary
status.

Procedure
- Open the
Job Program window, and create
a new record (F5).
- Enter a unique ID for the job program and a
brief description in the Job Program ID and Description fields
respectively.
- Enter a revision for the job program. For new
job programs, the revision is set to 1 by default.
- Change the site if appropriate. Use the List of
Values to select a suitable value.
- Enter a program type if you want to group the job
program.
- Save the information (F12).
