An object's parameter(s) can be used as a base for criteria based preventive maintenance for the object. A parameter can for example be 'Temperature', 'Quantity produced' or 'Operation hours', 'Oil level', 'Pressure', etc. A PM action can be created for an object's parameter, where the acceptable limits for the parameter is defined. When a measurement is recorded against the object's parameter, and the measurement is outside acceptable limits, a work order will be generated.
