Use the Define OEE Basics process to register the basic data required to run IFS/OEE.
You need to define mandatory basic data, for instance, event types and actions. Other mandatory data includes production units, products and qualities, loss causes, loss cause groups, and production rates. It is also highly recommended that you define optional information, such as, APQ goal values and revenue loss figures. APQ goals are useful when you want to perform a comparison with actual values. Revenue loss figures are used to set a monetary unit for all losses.
Once you have registered OEE basics, production reporting and follow-up of the equipment in your enterprise can be performed.
