Analyze Production

The Analyze Production process is used to evaluate past production figures (reported in IFS/OEE) in order to draw conclusions for the future. (Note that future refers to actions which are to be performed a couple of months from the present date.) The purpose of analyzing production is to identify major losses in equipment performance and reliability within your enterprise; whereby action can be taken to minimize disruptions and production stops, and ultimately increase profits within an enterprise.

In IFS/OEE analysis can be performed using APQ charts (including stop time information), event loss overview, event overviews, stop length charts and tree map charts. In order to ease analysis activities, all APQ calculations can be performed against a set goal- or theoretical maximum production rate. You can also choose to only include internal loss causes in the calculations or include external loss causes as well.
