Enter Produced Event

Explanation

Use this activity to register a produced event. A produced event contains information on the product that is produced by your production unit, its quality, the produced quantity as well as the period of time the production is valid.

Procedure

  1. Open the Production Unit window for the production unit you want.
  2. Click Report Completed Production (found in the Actions area) to open the Produced Event window. If you already have this window open, click Create New on the toolbar to create a new produced event.
    Note:
    You can also open the Produced Event window by selecting the right mouse button option View Event for an existing produced event record in the Production Unit window.
  3. Enter values in the From and To fields for the period of time the produced event was valid. By default, the system date/time will be displayed in the fields. Note however that these values can be manually changed if necessary.
  4. In the Product field enter the ID of the product affected by this produced event. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  5. In the Product Qualities field enter the quality affected by this produced event. This field is only available for editing once a value is selected in the Product field. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  6. Enter the quantity for the amount produced in the Produced Qty field.
  7. Enter relevant information for the produced event in the Note field.
  8. Enter the ID of the user who registered the produced event in the Reported By field. When a value is entered in this field, the given user's default maintenance organization will be populated in the Maintenance Organization field. Note: You can change the default value in the Maintenance Organization field if necessary.
  9. You can also enter additional information, e.g., a unique ID, in the Tracking ID field. This is helpful when you want to easily identify and keep track of a particular produced event.
  10. Verify the information you have entered and then click Save and Exit.
