Define Production Unit Revenue Loss
Explanation
Use this activity to define revenue losses for a
production unit. Revenue losses are defined per product. These are the products
to be produced by your production unit. The revenue loss is used to indicate the
expected loss cost per hour.
Prerequisites
- Products must have been defined in the
Define Products window (setup OEE).
- The production unit must have been defined in the
Define Production Units window (setup OEE).
System Effects
- New revenue losses are defined for the production
unit.
- The new revenue losses can be used to convert APQ
losses from time into costs. The event losses can be viewed in the OEE
Event Loss Overview window.

Procedure
- Open the Setup OEE window.
- In the Show Goals for Production Unit field, enter the
production unit for which you want to define goals. Use the List of Values
to select a valid value.
- Next, click on the green arrow button to the right
of the Show Goals for Production Unit field. The Define Goals window
opens.
- Click the Revenue Loss tab.
- All products connected to the selected production
unit will be displayed in the table of the tab with existing revenue loss
values (if any).
- Enter or change the value in the Revenue Loss
field.
- Save your changes.
Use the following procedure when you want to define
revenue loss goals for another production unit simultaneously:
- In the Show Goals for Production Unit field found in the
upper-right section of the window, enter the required production unit ID.
Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
- Next, click on the green arrow button to the right
of the Show Goals for Production Unit field. The window is populated with information
of the newly selected production unit.
- Click the Revenue Loss tab.
- All products connected to the selected production
unit will be displayed in the table of the tab with existing revenue loss
values (if any).
- Enter or change the value in the Revenue Loss
field.
- Save your changes.
