Use this window to manage rental base prices for given sales parts. Rental base prices are used when calculating prices for different quantities and rental duration intervals on price lists. It should not be mistaken for being the price entered on the sales part. Every base price has a status in order to be able to control how it should be used.
The rental base price is solely used for the update of sales price lists. The rental base price is calculated from the baseline price with the percentage and amount offset taken into consideration. The baseline price is used as a starting point to which offsets can be added in order to get the desired markup before the rental base price is used. The baseline price can be defined manually, there is no connection to IFS/Costing for rental prices.
In addition, it is possible to add a price break template to the rental base price. This is beneficial when several parts have the same characteristics regarding price depending on the ordered quantity. In the price break template you define quantities and rental duration periods with a percentage offset from the rental base price of the sales part. If the use of a price break template is enabled on sales price lists, quantities, rental durations and base prices are applied according to the price break template.
You can update base prices and sales price lists from this window.
It is only possible to enter sales parts that are connected to a part-based price group.
Sales parts can also be entered via the activity to add new sales parts, where several parts can be entered at once in an automated way.
When sales parts with a Sales Type of Sales Only on the sales part is entered there is an information message informing of this. In the automatic update these sales parts will not be included.
