Explanation

This activity is used to void a fault action that has, for instance, being entered incorrectly.

Procedure

Use this procedure to void a fault action that has been reported on a flight log:

  1. Open the Flight Log window and populate (F2) or query (F3) for your flight log number and/or serial.
  2. Click the Fault tab and select the relevant fault number from the Fault Number list.
  3. In the table of the window select the fault action record that is to be voided.
  4. Right-click and click Void Fault Action. The Void Fault Action dialog box opens.
  5. In the Voiding Information field, enter the reason for voiding the fault action.
  6. Click OK.

Follow this procedure to void a fault action from the Serial Operational Information window:

  1. Open the Serial Operational Information window and populate (F2) or query (F3) for your serial.
  2. Click the Fault tab and select the relevant fault number from the Fault Number list.
  3. Click the Fault Actions tab and select the fault action that is to be voided.
  4. Right-click and click Void Fault Action. The Void Fault Action dialog box opens.
  5. In the Voiding Information field, enter the reason for voiding the fault action.
  6. Click OK.
