This activity explains how to navigate from GIS Map to IFS Window.

Prerequisites

GIS objects should have been connected to business objects.

Business object belongs to the same logical unit opens them in its home window.

Procedure

Navigate with objects of the same logical unit:

1. Open Search and Select panel.
2. Search for business objects by using business object keys, GIS attributes or proximity.
3. Click on Show In IFS button and this opens the business object's home window.

Navigate with objects of different logical units:

1. Open Search and Select panel.
2. Create a search that highlights objects of several different logical units.
3. Click on Show In IFS button and this opens a dialog asking about viewing more information.
4. Click yes button and it opens GIS Object Connections window.
5. Right-mouse click on objects of the the same logical unit and select Object Details. This opens business objects in its home window.
