Execute Business Object Actions

Explanation

This activity is used to execute a business object's actions in Object Information dialog e.g. navigate to the business object's main window in IFS.

Prerequisites

GIS objects layers must have been made available for the user in GIS Layer Group window.

The business object information to be shown in Object Information dialog must have been configured in GIS Object Configuration window.

A connection between business object and GIS objects must have been created.

The selected action on a field or in Action section will be run.

Procedure

1. Open the GIS Map window.
2. Hover with the mouse pointer over a GIS object, if it displays a tool tip, click on that object.
3. It opens up the Object Information dialog box and actions are found on fields and in the section called Actions.

Fields, tabs and actions shown in the Object Information dialog are controlled by configuration defined in GIS Object Configuration window.
