Explanation

This activity is used to define layers in GIS Layer Groups window.

Prerequisites

Layer mapping should have been created in GIS Layer Mapping window.

Users should have been created in IFS Applications.

System Effects

Geographical information from the GIS system will be shown in GIS Map window for the selected users.

Layer groups for editable layers will also be shown as a node in layer navigator. The name of the node is created by using Layer Group ID.

Procedure

1. Open the GIS Layer Group window.
2. Click New and enter a value for Group ID and Description.
3. Click Save.
4. Open Layers tab and click New.
5. Select a value for Map Service URL from the List of Value.
6. Click Save.

Next step is to add users in the layer group.
