Explanation

This activity is used to create a case on a free space in GIS Map window.

Prerequisites

A layer representing cases should have been created and made public as a feature service in the GIS system.

GIS object's layer used for cases should have a field named IFSID.

Logical unit (LU) CcCase should have been defined with service name GisintConnections.

The layer should have been defined as Editable in GIS Layer Mapping window.

The layer should have been defined with a LU named CcCase in GIS Layer Mapping window.

The layer should have been defined for the user in GIS Layer Group window.

System Effects

A case is created on a free space in map.

Procedure

  1. Open the GIS Map window.
  2. Right mouse click on a free space in the map.
  3. Select the option Create Case and enter information about the case.
  4. Finish Case dialog and it creates a GIS object and a new case.
