Reschedule Shop Order Requisition Using Drag-and-Drop

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule a shop order requisition using drag-and-drop functionality from a visualization chart.

System Effects

• The shop order requisition will receive a new Due Date according to the value provided in the dialog box. If the date provided is a non-working day, Due Date will be set to the first work day before the date given.

            Note: Possible load generated by the capacity requirements planning from this requisition, will not be rescheduled to reflect the new date until the next execution of the capacity requirements planning.

Procedure

1. Open a visualizer enabled window and query for the site needed.
2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
3. Right-click and select Select Visualization. The Select Visualization dialog box will be opened.
4. Double-click Inventory Part Availability Planning.
5. Select the segment representing the shop order requisition supply you want to reschedule to a new date.
6. Click and hold the left mouse button while moving the cursor. Release at the date to which you want the requisition to be rescheduled. The Reschedule Shop Order Requisition dialog box will be opened.
7. The date where released is defaulted as the new Due Date, but can be optionally edited.
8. Click OK.
