Create Shortage Report for Shop Order
Explanation
Use this activity to print a report of the material shortages that have occurred in
manufacturing.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that the shop order be in the Released
state or higher.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the system prints a shortage
report for a shop order.

Procedure
- Specify the Site for which you want to print a shortage report. Use
List
to select from available sites.
- Specify the part number interval for which you want to print a shortage report in the
From Part No and To Part No fields. Use
List to select from available
parts.
- Enter a date interval for the shortage report in the From Date and
To Date fields.
- Select a planner for whom you want to print a shortage report. Use
List
to select from available planners.
- Select the state of the shop order for which you want to print a shortage report in the
State
list.
- Specify if you want to show only shortages on the report in the
Only Show Shortages list.
- Select the Available Inventory Only check box if you want to
include all shortages on the report, regardless of planned supply orders.
- Click OK.
- The Report Print dialog box appears. If desired, choose page
layout, language, etc.
- After you have made your desired changes, click
OK to print the report,
Cancel
to abort the print job, or
Preview
to preview the report.
- If you selected
Preview, the report is presented for review. After reviewing
it, click Print to print the report.
