Enter Pallet Refill

Explanation

This activity is used to enter pallet refills for pallet-handled parts. You can specify the refill point and the refill to quantity for one or several locations.

Prerequisites

• To enter pallet locations, the system parameter for pallet handling must be set to Yes in the Parameters for Distribution and Manufacturing window.
•  The inventory parts must have been entered and set to pallet-handled.
• Adequate pallet locations must have been entered in the Inventory Locations window.

System Effects

The refill point quantity and the refill to quantity for a location to be automatically refilled is specified.

Procedure

1. Open the Inventory Part window and query for your inventory part.
2. Click the Pallet Refill tab.
3. Select the location number for which you want to set automatic refilling.
4. Enter the quantity at which the refilling of the location is to be executed, in the Refill Point Qty field.
5. Specify the quantity up to which you want the location to be automatically refilled in the Refill to Qty field.
6. Save when completed.
