Create/Modify Warehouse Worker Groups

Explanation

This activity is used to create new warehouse worker groups or modify the data in an exiting worker group. You can also create new task types and location groups for each worker group you create.      

Prerequisites

Warehouse workers, task types and location groups should be pre-defined.

Procedure

  1. Open the Warehouse Task Basic Data window and then click Warehouse Worker Groups tab.
  2. Create a new record.
  3. Enter or search for the required site in the Site field.
  4. Enter the new worker group and its description in the Worker Group and Description fields respectively.
  5. Use the List of Values or the Zoom feature to enter a calendar ID in the Calendar ID field.
  6. In the Task Type tab all the task types defined for the actual site will be displayed. You can update the planned time share, efficiency and the status accordingly.
  7. If you need to enter a new task type for the warehouse worker group follow the following method:
    1. Click the Task Type tab.
    2. Create a new record and select the required task type from the List of Values.
    3. Enter the required time share in the Planned Time Share field, the efficiency in the Planned Efficiency Rate field.
    4. Then click either Active or Inactive in the Status field.
  8. If you need to define a new location group for the warehouse worker group follow the following method:
    1. Click the Location Group tab.
    2. Enter the required location group in the Location Group field using the List of Values.
    3. Enter the required time share in the Planned Time Share field.
    4. Then click either Active or Inactive in the Status column.
