Define Condition Measurements for Instructions

Explanation

This activity is used to define the condition measurements that are to be performed when executing an instruction (operation) on a work order.

Prerequisites

• An instruction must have been defined.
• A condition monitoring program for the part revision of the instruction must have been defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the condition categories to be measured when the instruction (operation) is executed on a work order are defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Instruction window and query (F3) for the necessary instruction (operation).
2. Click the Cond Meas. tab and create a new record (F5).
3. A value in the Part Number field appears automatically. If necessary, use the List of Values to select another part number.
4. In the Part Revision field, enter or verify that you have the correct revision of the part. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
5. In the Condition Category field, enter the condition category to measure. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
6. In the Condition Code field, enter the condition code to measure. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
7. Save the information (F12).
