Ignore Revision

Explanation

Use this activity to ignore an engineering revision or revisions for a site. This means that the part/revision will not be linked to the current site.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The destination site must exist in the system
• The engineering revision(s) must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The system ignores an engineering revision or revisions for a site. 
• The engineering revision or revisions are moved from Engineering Revision Transfers to Engineering Revision Transfer Actions.
• The Action State in Engineering Revision Transfer Actions is set to Ignored for the part(s).

Procedure

1. Open the Engineering Revision Transfers window.
2. Select the destination site in the Current Site field. Click List of Values (F8) to select from available sites.
3. Click Populate (F2) to retrieve the part records.
4. Select the engineering revision(s) for which you want to change the status to Ignored.
5. Right-click, then click Ignore.
