Change Cumulative Lead Time

Explanation

Use this activity to change the cumulative lead time of a part. Changes in a part's routing or structure may require the recalculation of the lead-time information for that part. The lead time is not actually calculated; you simply enter it manually. The activity for calculating the lead time is found in Calculations/Cumulative Lead Time Calculation.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a part must have been defined with a routing.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system changes the part's cumulative lead time in the inventory register.

Procedure

1. Display the part by populating or by making a selective query.
2. Right-click anywhere in the Routings tab, then click Change Cumulative Lead Time.
3. Enter a new cumulative lead time in the New Lead Time field.
4. Click OK.
