Register Job Grade

Explanation

Use this function to define and describe job grades. Also use it to define related specifications for the grade level and rank the levels. When entering data, enter the grade levels from the lowest level to the highest, since the sort function will automatically assign the grade ranking as sequence numbers (1, 2, 3, …) from the topmost data.

System Effects

After job and grade level have been registered you are able to connect all registered jobs and their grades to employees.

Procedure

Registering a grade level:

  1. Select New.
  2. Fill in a grade level and a grade level name. Grade level ranking will be automatically generated as sequence numbers.
  3. Save.
  4. You can change the order of the grade levels by using the right mouse button menu to open the Ranking Grade Level dialog box.
  5. Mark the level you want to change and use the up and down arrows to change the grade level ranking.
  6. Click the OK button to accept the changes or Cancel to discard the changes.
